Peter Shapiro:

Independent music entrepreneur Peter Shapiro’s eclectic career path has encompassed a range of celebrated projects. His experience as a young venue owner operating iconic New York City rock club, Wetlands Preserve, until it closed in September 2001 inspired his later venue projects: owning and operating multiple Brooklyn Bowls and restoring Westchester jewel The Capitol Theatre to its former glory. Peter is also co-founder of LOCKN’, a multi-day music and camping festival defined by its creative, collaborative programming, which draws tens of thousands of fans to a farm in rural Arrington, VA, every August. He also serves as publisher of Relix Media Group and the highly trafficked music website Jambands.com.

Billboard acknowledged the success of his collective endeavors by naming him to their Power 100 lists of influential people in the music business for 2015 and 2016. Peter sits on the board of a number of civic and charitable organizations, including The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (where he is a voting member), New York Public Radio, New York City Parks’ Arts Committee, Central Park Summerstage, HeadCount and The Lowline.

Prior to Iplay, he served seven years as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of TheStreet, Inc., a publicly traded multimedia creator of business and investment content co-founded by hedge fund manager and television personality Jim Cramer. Before going in-house at TheStreet in October 1999, Jordan spent five years as a corporate associate at the law firms of Proskauer Rose LLP and Rivkin Radler LLP. Jordan received a B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. degree from the Hofstra University School of Law, where he was a member of the law review.

Kirk Peterson:

Kirk Peterson has served as Director of Talent for Dayglo Ventures since he joined in 2013. He oversees talent buying and concert promotion across the organization’s properties including Brooklyn Bowl New York, Las Vegas, the Capitol Theatre, Garcia’s and Lockn’ Music Festival and has been instrumental in the growth of Dayglo Presents, which promotes concerts and other events in non Dayglo-owned venues. Prior to joining Dayglo, Kirk served as talent buyer for the Boulder Theater and the Fox Theatre in Boulder, Colorado. Concurrently, he was VP of Talent for experiential marketing firm All Phases Event Group, servicing a client list that included Aspen Skiing Company, Intrawest Resorts, Breckenridge Resort, Telluride Ski Resort, Oskar Blues Brewery, White Wave Soy Products, Macerich, Diageo, E*Trade, R.E.I., New Hope Natural Media, Billabong and Red Bull.

Rachel Baron:

Rachel Baron is Chief Personnel Officer and Senior Vice President of Dayglo Ventures. She is a Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and has completed certification in Affordable Care Act training and HR compliance. Rachel was instrumental in the 2009 launch of Relix Media Group with Peter Shapiro. Prior to Relix, Rachel worked at Condé Nast Media Group for six years, where she focused on launching the company’s Fashion Rocks and Movies Rock television events. Previous to her career in media and entertainment, Rachel worked in both retail and institutional trading at Lehman Brothers and Ladenburg Thalman.

Outside of work, Rachel has dedicated much of her time to generating awareness about women’s health issues. As Vice President of The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in NYC, she worked closely with such charities as The Revlon Walk, Gilda’s Club, and Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Currently, as a carrier of the BRCA gene and a breast cancer “previvor”, she is focusing her energy toward BRCA awareness and speaking to women who carry the BRCA gene. Chris Moody:

Chris Moody joined Dayglo in 2014 and currently serves as VP of Business and Finance. In this role, Chris is involved with all areas of the organization, helping to grow the underlying businesses by strengthening operations through improved financial planning and analysis. While working in finance with UBS and private hedge funds for over 15 years, Chris honed his skills for working closely with management of small companies and helping to increase their bottom lines by gaining a better understanding of their finances and operations.

Since joining the Dayglo management team, Chris has helped steer many of the underlying businesses into greater profitability and increased margins through greater insight into the financial drivers underpinning their performance. This has involved building improved financial models, collaboration with business unit managers to improve their bottom line, and working closely with financial partners to help them understand the growth needs of the company. Chris has a B.A. degree in Business and Finance from Lehigh University and the father of two teenagers. He enjoys the everyday challenges of growing a business and the rewards that (just like with raising children) come from seeing them succeed.

Jonathan Healey:

Jonathan Healey is Vice President of Marketing and Digital Strategy at Dayglo Ventures, a holding company that owns equity in Brooklyn Bowl, The Capitol Theatre, LOCKN’, and Relix magazine, among others. A progressive, collaborative, forward-thinking digital media and content development leader, Healey plays a vital function as a senior member of the executive team and works closely with an array of Dayglo departments to help shape the strategy and execution of marketing, promotion, sponsorship, creative, digital, and video media for the company.

Healey was instrumental in the planning, development, marketing, and 2012 re-launch of The Capitol Theatre (Port Chester, New York). The infrastructure built at The Cap served as a springboard to architect and oversee Dayglo’s high-performing, nationwide, venue marketing teams — a group with a proven track record of developing sophisticated promotional strategies that utilize a 360° approach that exceed expectations in achieving online visibility and engagement.

A longtime collaborator with Dayglo founder, Peter Shapiro, the duo have also orchestrated all aspects of film and television, producing award-winning and dynamic productions. Most notably, “Fare Thee Well: Celebrating 50 Years of Grateful Dead” set the record for the largest music pay-per-view event of all time, with more than 400,000 cable/satellite subscriptions and online streams. Dayglo’s recent endeavors include construction of a livestream division, producing more than 100 livestream concert events and programming a year.
Prior to focusing on Dayglo’s branding marketing and video initiatives, Healey developed and implemented successful digital and video strategies for Lorne Michael’s Burly Bear Network, Ray Dalio’s Bridgewater Associates, Warren Buffet’s Secret Millionaires Club, Diageo, TBS, National Lampoon, Henri Lloyd, and Gathering of the Vibes. An award-winning homebrewer, Healey lives in scenic Easton, Connecticut and is an avid skier.

Chris Kovach:

Chris Kovach serves as Creative Director for Dayglo Presents. He manages creative direction and production for all Dayglo-related merchandise projects, and high-profile digital projects (like Fare Thee Well and Bobby & Phil). Chris brings with him to Dayglo over 20 years of creative direction, merchandise design and production, and business development experience.

Prior to joining Dayglo, Chris served as head of marketing and creative for Playrific, an app development company that focuses on interactive, content-rich, entertaining, and educational apps for kids. Before joining Playrific, he served as Creative Director at Carbonite, — a leading online backup company serving consumers and SMBs — contributing to the company’s growth from $19MM to $60MM in annual revenues and successful IPO during his two years there. Concurrent with his work in the tech startup world Chris founded and led Nucleus Creative Group, a consulting company that designed, developed and produced merchandise for Live Nation, Phish, CID, Wilco, Newport Folk Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Boston Calling, and Legal Seafoods, to name a few. Kovach started his career in the late 1990s in the Phish parking lot and quickly grew a few t-shirt designs into an international streetwear clothing company with millions of dollars in revenues and distribution through top retailers including, Urban Outfitters, Gadzooks, Hot Topic, Anchor Blue, Delia’s, PacSun, Alloy, Mr. Rags, Zumiez, Newbury Comics, Genesco and Karmaloop.

Brad Tucker serves as Executive Assistant to Peter Shapiro and Project Manager for Dayglo Presents since 2014. Tucker joined the organization in 2010 as Intern to the Publisher (Peter Shapiro) at Relix Magazine, a Dayglo Ventures owned property, and was quickly promoted to Shapiro’s Executive Assistant a position which he still holds. Tucker’s responsibilities as Project Manager involve all Dayglo Presents properties including Brooklyn Bowl New York, Las Vegas, The Capitol Theatre, Garcia’s, Lockn’ Music Festival, Director of Marketing at Relix Magazine and Creator/Producer of the Relix Live Music Conference.
